Proceeds from sales are used for forum operating costs such as servers, license fees, etc.
We are using a product provider marketplace for order fulfillment, and these providers are often region-based.
Items might have a prefix like (EU), (UK), (NA [for North America]), etc.
These prefixes indicate which region is most likely to have the best shipping prices. Some providers have great prices in a given region but much higher prices for shipping elsewhere. The global prefix just means you can order that product wherever you are.
